Chandigarh, February 25, 2025 (Bharat Khabarnama Bureau) – Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has called a cabinet meeting on February 27 at 12 PM in Chandigarh to discuss key governance and policy matters.
This will be the second cabinet meeting of the year, following the one held on February 10, which took place after the polling for all 70 assembly seats in Delhi, where the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is contesting to retain power.
Although the agenda of the meeting has not been officially finalized, sources indicate that the scheduling of the Punjab Assembly’s budget session is would be a major point of discussion. The state budget is expected to focus on key issues such as development projects, welfare schemes, agriculture, education, and employment generation, aligning with the government’s promises and priorities.
The upcoming meeting is also expected to review ongoing policy initiatives, assess the implementation of previous cabinet decisions, and deliberate on new proposals aimed at boosting governance efficiency in Punjab.
