Yudh Nashiyan Virudh: Drug Trafficker’s House Bulldozed Facing 21 cases

Abohar, March 8, 2025 (Bharat Khabarnama Bureau) The Punjab government during its ongoing drive against drug traffickers has demolished illegally acquired property of drug trafficker Bohar Singh who is facing 21 drug trafficking cases. A bulldozer was used to raze the house of this drug smuggler in Seed Farm village. 

On this occasion, SSP Varinder Singh Brar stated that strict action is being taken by the district police under the guidelines of the Punjab government in the ongoing war against drugs. He further warned that anyone who amasses wealth through drug trafficking will either have their property seized or demolished. He emphasized that this is just the beginning of the campaign, and more such actions will be taken against individuals who have acquired property through illegal drug trade.

He also highlighted that the public is actively supporting the government’s anti-drug initiative, providing valuable information about drug traffickers to the police. With community support, he expressed confidence that the menace of drugs would soon be eradicated.

Additionally, SSP Brar mentioned that the district police has launched a public outreach program to connect with villagers directly. This initiative is helping gather valuable feedback, making the anti-drug campaign even more effective and targeted.

The residents of Seed Farm village welcomed the police action, stating that such strict measures will weaken the networks of drug traffickers and ensure the success of Punjab government’s mission to make the state drug-free.
